Chemotherapy number five ...

Reports are coming in often enough to keep me from having panic attacks today.  At 10:30 Honey Gail let me know she had finished with blood tests in the lab and her port had been inspected and was functioning well.

At 2:00 I learned she had made it to the treatment room but it might be another hour before the chemicals began to be administered, ,and since they are different from the previous infusions, they are to be dripped slowly to see how she tolerates them.   She and Mark will be late leaving the clinic today.

I'll post a final report when I get one.

Meanwhile, please continue praying.   She's holding tight to her faith in God and values the hundreds of prayers going up for her safe recovery.

I called at 3:15.  She was getting the infusion and having no adverse effects.  She sounded exhausted when she told me she still had two hours to go.  Mark will probably have her safely back home by 6.
