Honey Gail ...

Her name is Linda Gail, but for fifty-one years she has been Honey Gail to family and close friends ..

I see with a mother's eyes so my description of Honey Gail may be  less than accurate,  but she is beautiful in every way.  She manages to be good without being too good.  She's honest and fair and kind with only a touch of hot temper.

On September tenth ... thirteen days after my beloved Phillip died ... Honey Gail found a lump in her breast.  .  The weeks since then have been filled with tests and doctor appointments.  Today, with her husband, Mark, and her daughter, Jennie, by her side, Honey Gail spent three hours with an oncologist who did more intense testing and mapped out a tentative plan for the next four months.

Chemotherapy will begin November seventh.

Honey Gail is holding up well.  (the rest of us are doing the best we can.)  Her faith in God has always been strong and is not wavering now.  She wants all the prayers she can get.  (Aunt Joey, she's counting on you)

I'll post updates as they become available.

Please pray hard.
