Very frustrating ...
Back home ... when an old person died he was often remembered as a man who "never said nothin' bad 'bout nobody ..." He might not have said anything good either. He might simply have been a quiet person
I wish I could be quiet.
But, no ... I speak loud and long, and since my guests are almost always kind loving people, they leave my house entertained, encouraged, relaxed and content ... but on those rare occasions when a traitor is in the group, ready to pounce, she never has long to wait before a juicy morsel falls from my lips and can be slanted to fit her agenda.
I hate when that happens ....
